Chemical inventories are located on the University managed database through Chemwatch Inventory Management System. New chemical orders placed through Deacon Depot will be automatically entered in the inventory. It is the responsibility of inventory managers (labs, studios, shops) to remove chemicals from the inventory as containers are emptied.

Prudent Practices in the Laboratory provides detailed information on appropriate storage groups for laboratory chemicals. Follow the guidelines provided to ensure incompatible and mutually exclusive materials are not stored together in the lab.
