Laser Safety
Prior to working with lasers, lab personnel must read the WFU Laser Safety Manual and complete the Laser Safety course on the WFU Online Safety Training system. Contact the EHS Department to enroll.
Complete the Laser Registration Form for any new lasers purchased.
The Laser SOP should be used if no formal Standard Operating Procedure exists for a laser.
The Laser Safety Checklist should be used prior to using a laser to ensure all appropriate safety measures have be taken.
